Role Description

As a Web Developer at Seodium, you will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing websites for our clients, ensuring optimal performance at all times. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, troubleshoot and debug issues, deep dive into analytics, and optimise sites for search engines. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As we do not tie ourselves to any individual platform, there will be exposure to WordPress, OpenCart, Magento, Shopify, Code Igniter, Laravel and other platforms (though we generally stay within the PHP world!).

This role can be tailored to suit a relative junior or experienced developer.

Requirements

• A solid foundation knowledge of PHP:
• Knowledge of general website security and hosting performance:
• Knowledge of HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript:
• A solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility:
• Understanding the fundamentals of technical SEO best practices (though a lot of training will be provided here):
• Relevant certifications or a degree in a related field is a plus:
• A portfolio consisting of at least three previous projects (they do not need to be commercial websites):
