User Experience Testers
From time-to-time, we need people that fit a certain demographic to come and test websites/apps that we manage and optimise. Can you help?
Am I suitable?
We will specify the target demographic on our advertisements that we post on Social Media. If you match this demographic, and can get to the specified testing location (normally our office in Longton) you’re suitable.
For some tests, you don’t even need to leave your vehicle – if we’re testing mobile phone usage, we’ll come out and meet you at the car park.
What do I need to do?
We will ask you to let us share your recording with our team and the owner of the website or app.
We will then provide you with some test instructions (e.g. add a football, boots and shin pads to your cart).
You simply have to complete these tasks using a mobile phone or laptop. The tasks typically take just 3-10 minutes.
What's in it for me?
As an incentive for completing the test, we offer a simple reward.
Please refer to the ads placed on social media that will give detail of the reward.
For rewards that involve gift vouchers we may need your email address to send the gift voucher to.

How will I be recorded and how will it be used?
We will observe you using the website/app and record your screen and hands using a mobile phone.
We make notes on where you have difficulty or hesitate in completing the test.
The recordings will be watched by our team and the client. We will keep the recordings for no longer than required.

If multiple users have the similar issues, difficulties or hesitations, it can help us to identify possible issue that we may need to fix.
